From Assistant Engineer to Project Director: 15 Years of Dedication\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: start;\">Having spent 15 years in Singapore, I, Zhang Yu, joined Rotary Electrical & Instrumentation Pte Ltd immediately after graduating in 2007. With no work experience, I made a bold decision to live on-site with the workers at the project camp, reducing commute time and immersing myself in project operations. This hands-on experience provided me with a solid foundation in project management, from planning and installation to quality control and project handover. I have continually pursued learning, completing required training courses and additional studies in technology and project management. Over these 15 years, I have progressed from an assistant engineer to a project director. I have managed major projects across various countries and currently oversee the largest projects in Southeast Asia and Singapore as the company’s \"Thailand Manager.\"\u003C/p>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: start;\">\u003Cstrong>2. Pursuing an MBA to Enhance Management Skills and Broaden Perspectives\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: start;\">As my role increasingly involved decision-making and management, I recognized the need for further education to enhance my skills. Despite a deep understanding of my industry, I felt a lack of knowledge about other sectors and broader economic trends. This led me to pursue an MBA, aiming to gain comprehensive business management knowledge, shift my thinking patterns, and expand my horizons. I hope to apply the insights gained from the MBA to my work, contributing greater value to my company while learning from industry peers to broaden my perspective.\u003C/p>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: start;\">\u003Cstrong>3. Jinan University Singapore MBA: The Best Choice for Me\u003C/strong>\u003C/p>\u003Cp style=\"text-align: start;\">Initially unaware of the Jinan University Chinese MBA program, I discovered its suitability for overseas professionals. The program's application review system eliminates the need to return to China for the MBA entrance exam, saving significant time. The program’s instruction in Chinese enhances understanding and application of the material.
